Types
Clark makes an array of forklift trucks such as pneumatic trucks, cushion trucks and narrow aisle. The different kinds vary when it comes to the way they operate. Like for instance, heavy-duty forklifts utilized for construction and agriculture run on an internal combustion or IC engine. Narrow aisle kinds designed for use in warehouses and different other confined spaces are powered by rechargeable battery.

Lifting Capacity
The lifting capacity of Clark forklift trucks differs based on the kind. Forklifts which are battery-powered have a range from 1100-3000 kilograms, depending on the kind. For a greater capacity range, the internal combustion kinds are suggested. They can lift from 1400-8000 kilograms.

Engine
AC batteries, either 36 volt or 48 volt, are used to operate Clark electric forklift trucks. The internal combustion or IC engine models have 52 to 100 horsepower engines. The IC kinds have automatic transmission with single-speed, two-speed or three-speed kinds.

Frame/Cab
The center of the forklift is the frame/cab assembly. This includes the operator's overhead protective cover, the controls and the seat. The frame consist of the fuel tank, engine, wheels, transmission and trans-axle.
